The below are things to consider before
- Create a mood board of poses or flay lays to share with our photographer
- Which menu items will be photographed?
- Consider starting with cold menu items on arrival
- Make note of the props you want included on they day
- Will you be having professional models or staff hand modelling? If you’re planning to have staff, please make sure they are aware and conformable with being photographed.
- What time of day is best for lighting at the selected location
- Make sure the whole team is briefed before the photographer arrives, including the chef
- We recommend assigning a dedicated staff member to stay with the photographer without the duration of the photoshoot to help keep the area clean up and communicate with the chef
- Have dedicated space ready for the photographer to set up
- Consider the menu items and preparation time
- Consider what beverages suit which meals
- Make sure staff are well presented with clean uniform and clean nails
- Make sure the chef knows these images will be on social media for consistency
