Restaurant and Cafe Photography
Release your inner foodie! Allow us to come to your restaurant or cafe and capture the vibrant colours and tempting textures of your menu. Whether you want to highlight the intricate details of your dishes, the vibe of your space, or the faces behind your brand, our in-house photographer, Charlotte, is here to bring your vision to life. We love getting out of the studio and showcasing your unique atmosphere.
Things to Consider Before Your Restaurant or Cafe Photoshoot:
- Create a mood board featuring poses or flat lays you want to share with our photographer.
- Which menu items will be photographed? Plan ahead and consider starting with cold dishes when the photographer arrives.
- What props will be included? Make sure you have everything you want to feature in the shoot.
- Will you be using professional models or staff for hand modelling? If your staff are being photographed, ensure they’re aware and comfortable in front of the camera.
- Lighting considerations: What time of day is best for natural light in your venue?
- Prepare your team: Make sure the whole team is briefed, including the chef, before the photographer arrives.
- Assign a staff member to stay with the photographer throughout the shoot. This helps ensure the area stays tidy and that the chef can communicate effectively about the food being photographed.
- Set up a dedicated space for the photographer to work.
- Consider menu preparation time and coordinate which dishes or drinks pair best together.
- Staff presentation: Ensure staff have clean uniforms and nails, as these details will be noticeable in the images.
- Consistency on social media: Make sure the chef knows the images will be shared online, so the presentation is consistent with your brand.
