Melbourne Creative Studio Hire

Studio on Hampton offers a spacious 80m2 of pristine white epoxy floors, allowing plenty of room to bring your ideas to life. All studio hire bookings include our versatile range of furniture, elegant ceiling high sheer linen curtains, versatile Queen bed, and modern desk setting.

Premium Prop Room

Our Premium Prop Room is a curated collection of delicate, unique, and quirky props of various shapes, sizes, and colours. It includes items such as food backgrounds, materials, coffee table books, fashion magazines, vinyl, party decorations, candles, cocktail glasses, coffee mugs, and more. Most of these props are collected from other shoots or second-hand, making them unique and one of a kind.

Access to the Premium Prop Room can be added to your booking for a small fee of $25. Please add this to your booking notes and our team will make sure the Premium Prop Room is ready for you.

Studio Hire Rates

1HR of studio hire $120 + GST
2HR of studio hire $200 + GST
3HR of studio hire $300 + GST
4HR of studio hire $420 + GST
6HR of studio hire $600 + GST
8HR of studio hire $800 + GST

If you wish to extend your booking on the day, it is subject to availability. Each additional hour is only $50.00 + GST and will be invoiced after your booking. This will be charged in 15 minute intervals.

Studio Hire FAQs

When Can I Hire The Studio?

The studio is available to hire any time by request of our booking team, however, our online bookings are open from 8:30AM to 5:00PM on Tuesdays through Saturdays. If you’re booking is outside of these hours, please email create@studioonhampton.com.au

When Is The Best Time To Book / The Best Lighting?

Currently, the best light at Studio on Hampton typically occurs during the late morning to early afternoon, when natural light floods the space. During the colder months, we recommend not shooting after 4:30PM if you’re not using flash.

We all know Melbourne can be tricky to predict so we try to be as flexible as possible if you’re wanting to catch golden hour. During day light savings the studio can stay bright up to 7PM!

Do note, we are also close to a few Primary Schools, so if you’re flexible, it’s good to avoid traffic around school pickup.

How Do I Book A Studio Hire?

Studio hire bookings can be booked instantly online or through our booking team on create@studioonhampton.com.au. For event bookings, please email us your event details and purpose.

Will There Be Staff Available On Site During My Booking?

We will be onsite to welcome you, provide a quick tour, and then allow you to work uninterrupted.

Do You Provide Photography Equipment For Hire?

While we don’t offer equipment hire, we do provide a few helpful items. See refer to our list of inclusions and upgrades below.

Venue Hire

Studio on Hampton offers a versatile and stylish space that’s perfect for intimate gatherings. We encourage community and creative events such as yoga classes, women’s circles, creative workshops etc. We do not offer the studio for personal events such as baby showers or birthdays, as we like to keep community events aligned with our creative network, nor have the facilitates to cater for larger social events.
