Our studio is designed to cater to photographers, content creators, and creatives of all kinds. What’s Included and How It Works

Studio on Hampton provides a spacious and versatile studio with carefully curated selection of neutral-toned furniture, décor, and props.  Studio hire includes access to the space for your allocated booking time, be sure to include your own set-up and pack-down. A member of our team will meet you on the day to let you in and provide a tour. You’re welcome to use all the furniture and props currently set up in the studio.

The studio gallery showcases what’s currently available, but please note that our furniture and props rotate depending on other bookings. If there’s something specific you would like for your shoot, please reach out to us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Studio Hire Rates

Hourly Rate
  • Hourly Rate: $90 + GST per hour
  • Your booking time includes both set-up and pack-down
  • Minimum booking time: one-hour
  • Additional costs: early access fees is the same as the hourly rate, background paper, or overtime charges.
Overtime

We often have back-to-back bookings with classes, photoshoots, and meetings, so it’s crucial that your team vacates the studio promptly at the end of your booking time.

  • If your team has not fully vacated the studio by the end of your allocated time, an immediate overtime fee of $75 + GST will apply. To ensure smooth transitions, we will check the cameras to confirm you’re packing up and will contact the booking 5 minutes before your hire concludes.
  • For every additional 15 minutes beyond your allocated time, an extra charge of $20 + GST will be incurred. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Studio on Hampton offers a versatile and stylish space perfect for intimate events and workshops. The venue is ideal for activities like yoga classes, women’s circles, creative workshops, and other community-focused gatherings.

What is the difference between Studio Hire and Venue Hire?

Studio hire is designed for photography, videography, or content creation. It includes access to the studio’s features, such as natural light, props, backdrops, and equipment like lighting or stands. This option is tailored for creatives and professionals working on photoshoots, branding sessions, or video content production. We leave out props and style the space, so it’s ready for your content needs.

How to Book: Studio hire is charged hourly and can be booked online via our website.

Venue hire is designed for business and creative events such as workshops and women’s circles—anything that isn’t a photoshoot or content shoot. It is available in two time slots: half-day and full-day, offering flexibility to bring food or decorations. We prepare the studio with minimal props, leaving an open, clean space for you to bump in and set up for larger groups and interactive events.

How to Book: Venue hire must be booked via email to ensure someone is available to meet you for your setup. Please email your event details, including your desired time and date.

When Can I Hire The Studio?

The studio is available to hire at any time by request of our booking team; however, online bookings are limited depending on the season. If you cannot see an available time, you are welcome to email create@studioonhampton.com.au.

When Is The Best Time To Book / The Best Lighting?

During daylight savings months (October-April), the best natural light typically occurs from late morning to late afternoon, 12:00PM–7:00PM. During this time, the studio is often flooded with warm sunlight, creating beautiful hard shadows depending on the clouds. In winter, we recommend shooting with continuous light or flash from 5:00PM onwards.

How Do I Book A Studio Hire?

Studio hire bookings can be booked instantly online. For event bookings, please email us with your event details and purpose for assistance.

Will There Be Staff Available On Site During My Booking?

A team member will be onsite to welcome you, provide a quick tour, and then allow you to work uninterrupted.

Do You Provide Photography Equipment For Hire?

While we do not offer camera equipment hire, one Aputure Amaran 100X Bi-Colour LED Light is included in your studio hire.
