What is an E-Commerce Photoshoot?
Before you book your photoshoot with Studio on Hampton, it’s good to know the difference between e-commerce photography and lifestyle photography. Our e-commerce product photography is defined as simple with minimal styling. Perfect if you’re wanting plain images with no distraction.
In our experience, we found there are a few things to think about when planning a e-commerce product photography and e-commerce fashion photography.
Things to consider before your e-commerce product photoshoot:
- Number of product including sizes and packages? A very clear shot list must be provided to the photographer for a quote.
- How many people will attend the photoshoot in total including staff and models?
- Do you have a mood board?
- Shot list so we don’t forget any hero images
- Deadline for the deliverables
- Will you be having models including hand models?
- List of props and who is supplying them
- Background options
- Will you attend the photoshoot to help with product styling and cleaning, or should we book a studio assistant?
- A studio assistant is $30 per hour, minimum 2 hours.
Things to consider before your e-commerce fashion photoshoot:
- Number of items? A very clear shot list must be provided to the photographer for a quote.
- How many people will attend the photoshoot in total including staff and models?
- Do you have a deadline for the deliverables?
- Do you have a mood board?
- Will you be having experienced models? As this may effect the time of the photoshoot
- How many models will attend the photoshoot?
- Do you have a hair and make up artist?
- Will you need additional time for hair and make up at the studio?
- List of props and who is supplying them
- Background colour
- It’s best to provide the photographer with the run sheet including all staff names
